"They didn't skimp!" That was the most-used phrase during our stay!
This was their opening weekend, & Karen & her husband have created a resort-like feel in a cozy spot right by Lake Erie...heated pool, hot tub, waterfall, plentiful pool deck, chairs with cushions, many places to sit & read or eat outside, lots of pool floats, kayaks you can use on the lake, a swing right by the lake with access to the water, & that's just the outside!
Inside, things were well-designed to be functional, comfortable,& luxurious! Lots of windows, soft/thick beach & bath towels...& so many of them for just the two of us! The bed was so comfy, the linens were so soft, & the pillows were perfect. & I'm super picky!
The kitchen was well-stocked with all we needed. I usually notice a bunch of things that could be better when I stay somewhere, & one reason we could relax so well there was that we didn't see anything to improve. They already made it so much nicer than we could have imagined!

Karen was beyond amazing & communicative from day 1, as well as while we were on the property. The cottage was spotless & absolutely gorgeous. We felt right at home & we cannot wait to return.
